The British Grand Prix fro 2014 is scheduled for this July. The events offered in addition to the racing make it a great family fun weekend. But, there are always questions about where to stay while there. Some different lodging options are available from camping to B & B’s and hotels all nearby. Booking early will secure your spot for the festivities. Since most of the area accommodations are Quality Assured or AA Rated, cost maybe the decision-maker when it comes to booking, so here are some highlights of the lodging available nearby the British Grand Prix.

British Grand Prix Camping

If camping is your choice for the F1 weekend, then the Silverstone Woodlands is available. It has been around for twenty years and is the official campsite of the Silverstone Circuits. The campground offers entertainment, food and bars onsite for the campers. The Petrol Head Club is an onsite pub for campers’ convenience. There is also catering at the campground that is available even for smaller events in the speedway. Sit back with a fish and chips dinner or nibble on a tasty pie at affordable prices. Keep the fun going from the day with evening entertainment with music, quizzes and more fun. Then settle into one of the grassy sites that are equipped with drinking water. Some pitches with electric are also available, too. The purpose built toilet blocks make the stay a pleasant one for race goers. There is a complimentary shuttle service that runs from seven in the morning to seven in the evening and the campground is close to the racing action.

The Whittlebury Golf and Country Club is also a camping option complete with a public 36-hole golf course and a private foot path to the races. This site has limited electric hook up options so pre-booking is important to get one. For those who will plan to attend an event like the British Grand Prix, booking early at this or any of the other campgrounds is advised to ensure there is good availability for the F1 weekend.

Camping might not be for you. If you prefer a hotel stay with a continental breakfast at affordable prices, then the Snoozebox Hotel might be for you. With rooms that have an LCD TV, free wifi and a double and single bunk and an en-suite wetroom, this is a fine choice for racing fans. Choose to book a single night’s stay or for an entire weekend event like the British Grand Prix in July. Relax in the club lounge or get a view of the races in the elevated track viewing gallery. With breakfast, light snacks and drinks offered onsite then you are set for a great stay. There are also private dinner options at the social hub and other choices for group functions.

Silverstone Grand Prix Packages

If you don’t want the stress of organising accommodation then maybe buying an F1 package break is for you. Silverstone Grand Prix packages take care of everything for you. From luxury hotels to VIP hospitality at the race. This is an option for those wanting a more luxurious weekend.

The F1 British Grand Prix should be a great weekend, so regardless of where you stay; there will be excitement for the races and fun that extends to your lodging. Come and stay at the races!
